Everything we know about the 2021 BMW M3 and M4 (G80)

It's the car that has the Mercedes-AMG C63 and Audi RS4 shaking in their boots. That's right, it's the BMW M3 and M4, and the German carmaker is releasing new examples of the saloon and coupe for 2021.

The G80 sports cars, driven by the press earlier this week, are set to be the most powerful M3 and M4 to date. The company's new S58 straight-six engine pumps out 501bhp and 601Nm of torque in competition guise, with power being sent to all-four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. You can also spec a rear-wheel drive layout on Competition cars, but if you're yearning for a manual 'box - you'll have to settle for the 'standard' model.
