My 150 Lb.* Weight Loss in 8 Photos | WW

Since Erica, 36, joined WW (formerly Weight Watchers) in 2018, she's lost more than 150 lbs.* In this video, she reflects on her transformation by scrolling through 8 Instagram posts, beginning with a photo taken after she lost her first 30 lbs.* in March 2018 and ending with a then-and-now side-by-side from September 2019.

Erica started her wellness journey after a recommendation from her doctor. She began documenting her weight loss on Instagram for accountability and continued for the encouragement ("You'll never have anybody who supports you as much as as stranger from the Internet," she says of WW's online community). But she's the first to acknowledge that Instagram doesn't tell the full story.

"When you see these then-and-now moments, it is one moment in one day. It is a blip. And it's really easy to see this photo and think, 'Oh my goodness, I could never do that.' But there's a lot of work, there's a lot of moments that come between the photo on the left and the photo on the right," she says.
