FERRY FIASCO: Neil Gray pulled up on 'inflationary pressures' excuse for delays and costs

Wellbeing Economy Secretary Neil Gray was questioned by MSPs on Holyrood’s Public Audit Committee last week.

The committee convenor, Richard Leonard, asked Mr Gray: 'As someone who is born and brought up an islander, how do you think people will react to your answer which suggests that the reason these two vessels, both vessels are five years late and three and a half times over budget is because of inflationary pressures and supply chain difficulties?'
