12 Edible Plants That Grow In Your Yard

There are a lot of common edible plants that can grow in your yard. Things like Dandelion, Clover, Violet, Plantain, and more are easily found and gathered from a yard with little effort. In this video we count down twelve different plants that are in your yard. This list is by no means exhaustive however it should give you an idea that there can be plenty of diversity in a lawn if you look carefully.

Many of these plants, or varieties of them, grow all across the United States and the world. They also have parts that are usable at different times of the year, as well as some being medicinal so there is something at least one of these plants can offer you. Whether you are looking for desserts, sauces, condiments, greens, vegetables, or even something like glue from the pine tree the choices abound. Proving in one way that you don't have to go very far to find edible plants.
