Seal Strikes His Rescuer

It is cold at Pelican Point and many seals are sitting on the beach to warm up a bit. The rescuers have identified an entangled seal and Naude catches it with the seal rescue net. A second entangled seal right next to the rescuers escaped into the ocean, he will have to keep its entanglement for a bit longer until the rescuers catch him.
They find a third entangled seal and catch him with the baby seal net. He is feisty and full of energy - a good sign for the seal's full recovery. The pups are almost getting too big now for the baby net. Denzil cuts a piece of packaging strap in two, the seal does not like the interaction at all but cannot defend himself.
The rescuers return to Naude's seal - Naude had dropped his rescue tool in the sand and could not remove the entanglement without the other rescuers' help. Denzil scores a little love bite in the process - luckily the glove kept harm away.
