The Center for Translation Studies, co-sponsored by the Department of English and Comparative Literature, presents an interdisciplinary lecture by Fady Joudah, a Palestinian American physician, poet, and translator. This background allows for a unique perspective on questions relating to the translation of poetry, memories of Palestine and subtle analogies between language and human anatomy, which Joudah discusses in his lecture entitled: "Psychology of Fragments: Translating Mahmoud Darwish".
