The Fender Vintera II ’50s Stratocaster emulates the revolutionary guitar prized by early rockers such as Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Hank Marvin and others. The Vintera II is a painstaking revival—with savvy yet reverent modern updates—that offers the sound and feel of an Eisenhower-era Stratocaster without the astronomical price tag (or decades of use, abuse and love) you’d encounter on a vintage instrument.

“For me and a lot of guitar players, the instrument inspires the style of playing,” says guitarist, songwriter and music director Kelly Rosenthal (Camila Cabello, Lizzy McAlpine, I Am Strikes). “The neck of the Vintera II ’50s Strat is very friendly. It sits in my hand nicely, and I really enjoy that I can wrap my thumb around the neck. I also love that traditional Strat spank. It’s a timeless and unique sound.”
