The Theme Park History of Terminator 2 3D Battle Across Time (Universal Studios Florida/Hollywood)

Terminator 2 3D: Battle Across Time (also known as T2 3D: Battle Across Time) is a 3D and live action show featured at Universal Studios Japan and formerly, Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood. The show is a mini sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day and reunited director James Cameron and the main cast from movie, including Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator, Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Edward Furlong as John Conor, and Robert Patrick as the T-1000. The show is a theater based presentation featuring 3D film, live action and pyrotechnics. In this video, we take a look at the development of the attraction, James Cameron’s involvement with the show, and the closures of Florida and Hollywood versions.
