The Theme Park History of The Indiana Jones Adventure (Disneyland/Tokyo DisneySea)

The Indiana Jones Adventure is a EMV dark ride attraction that opened at Disneyland on March 3rd, 1995 and Tokyo DisneySea on September 4th, 2001. Based on the Indiana Jones film series, the attraction has guests accompany Indiana Jones on a quest through a lost temple that is guarded by a supernatural power. In this video we take a look at the history of The Walt Disney Company after the passing of it’s founder Walt Disney, the hiring of Michael Eisner as CEO and how he changed the landscape of the company, his relationship with George Lucas and how it brought Indiana Jones to Disneyland, the original concept for Adventureland attraction and the ride itself, and its clones at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Tokyo DisneySea.
