Hello beautiful friends! Today's vlog is.a really relaxing and dreamy summer day in my life in France with my love! I decided to take a self-care day as I have been going non stop to my art studio working on an upcoming exposition. I think it's really important to make time for ourselves and spend time with people we love to stay happy and inspired. Summers in Paris are always so lovely and that afternoon with Alex we decided to have a little picnic at a park nearby (complete with French croissants of course haha). I love how the pace of life in France is much slower, and you can take time to enjoy the simple pleasures like good food and the sun shining on your face. After, I went on a long walk around Paris where I show you around my neighborhood called Belleville (the 19th/20th arrondissement of Paris). The center of Paris tends to get a lot of attention because of the Eiffel Tower and other tourist attractions, but my quartier is really artsy and has a lot to offer. I love exploring and discovering all the amazing architecture, smelling the delicious food from open windows and just wandering. There are also a lot of lovely parks, bakeries, cheese shops and cute side streets where you'll meet cats and hear people playing music from inside their houses. After, I take you down to the canal de l'ourcq in the 19th where in the summer you can swim and rent boats. After, I decided to wind down by making some dinner with you and drinking a glass of red wine (while watching reruns of tv shows haha). It was a good day of resetting and practicing self love and I was happy to share it with you.
