Moving & Separating // starting over vlog 1

about a month ago I moved out of my old place and in to a new apartment in Paris…by myself. I feel like in order to move on I need to share this story with you.
Starting over can be beautiful and painful all at once. There are so many things about this process and living alone for the first time in six years that you don't think about, and I am trying to let myself feel the whole range of emotions.
this was obviously a really hard video to make, but I know deep down that these are the kind of decisions that we all must go through in life in order to grow and do what's best for our future. Whether that's a separation, moving countries, leaving a secure job to follow a new path..we all are just trying our best every day to figure things out..I hope that by being vulnerable and sharing this part of my journey I can maybe help some of you while also healing myself.
I know this next chapter in life will be full of challenges so I tried to vlog through this moving process and capture the highs and lows. Something that has really helped me has been creating new rituals for myself like slow mornings or singing in my kitchen at night. However, I am also grieving the end of something really beautiful and special, and I let myself feel that, too.
