AC Compressor Hums Yet Not Turning On
On this air conditioning service call. I find the compressor humming and not turning on. Therefore I open the AC electrical service panel. I found the capacitor failed. The faulty capacitor prevents the compressor starting. Therefore I replace the capacitor in and test operation of the compressor. Air conditioner is up and running.
