Gran Turismo 1 - Playthrough Part 13 - Megaspeed Cup

Gran Turismo 7 might be coming out at the end of the year with the release of the PS5, so I want to try to do a full playthrough of all the previous Gran Turismo games until then. Here you can see me completing the Megaspeed Cup in the simulation mode of Gran Turismo 1.

Gran Turismo has always been one of my favorite racing game franchises and I played the first 3 games of the series when they first came out. After that I moved to PC though, so I never got to play GT 4-6. This year I want to try to revisit GT 1-3 and also play through GT 4-6 for the first time. I am not sure if I will manage to get all of it done but I will see how far I can get.

In this video I am doing the Megaspeed Cup, which takes place on both versions of High Speed Ring and on the full throttle track Test Course, which isn't used in any other cup in this game.

The opponents here are heavily tuned Japanese road cars, so I am also getting one of those myself with the 1992 GTO from the used car dealer, challenging the more modern GTO from the AI. :P

As a reward car I got a Toyota Soarer here. The other possible reward would have been an Aston Martin DB7.

In the next video I will be doing the final A license championship with the Normal Car Cup.
