Gran Turismo 7 - "Moby Dick" Mission Challenges (All Gold Medals!)

Gran Turismo 7 has been released and it features 48 mission challenges at launch, which are split into 6 different chapters. Here you can see me earn the gold medal in all 8 "Moby Dick" missions.

Missions are specific challenges, which are usually with a loaner car. They first appeared in Gran Turismo 4 and have returned in some form in every following game.

After the issue with the wrong tires has been fixed I am now finally able to continue my playthrough of all the missions. In this 4th chapter I didn't have any trouble with getting all the gold medals and as usual I did a few extra attempts to beat some of my friends where possible.

In the Eco Challenge I had some trouble with beating my friends at first but I was able to do it instantly after I changed my TCS from 2 to 1, so I would recommend not going above 1 for this car. I could obviously improve even further here by saving a bit more fuel.

For the endurance race I went with the Nissan GT-R, since it's already close to 600 PI without upgrades and you get it for free during the career mode. One of me friends was 90 seconds faster but he apparently used a Group B rally car. The rain also doesn't appear to be equally strong in each run here, so I probably got a bit unlucky with that too. I did 3 pit stops but you can also save fuel and do 2, which might be faster.

As a reward car for completing these missions you get the Toyota 86 Group 4 car and for getting all 8 gold medals you additionally get the Eckert's Rod & Custom Mach Forty.
