Gran Turismo 6 - Playthrough Part 5 - Japanese 90s, Classic Sportscar and Compact Car Cups

Gran Turismo 7 is coming out in March 2022, so I want to try to get a good amount of completion in all of the previous Gran Turismo games until then. Here you can see me completing the Japanese 90s Cup, Classic Sportscar Cup and Compact Car Cup in Gran Turismo 6.

Gran Turismo has always been one of my favorite racing game franchises and I played the first 3 games of the series when they first came out. After that I moved to PC though, so I never got to play GT 4-6. Before GT7 I want to try to revisit GT 1-3 and also play through GT 4-6 for the first time. I am not sure if I will manage to get all of it done but I will see how far I can get.

In this video I am completing 3 further cups in the National B section.

For the Classic Sportscar Cup I am picking up the Alpine A110, which is just powerful enough to give me some close races against the stronger opponents like the Ferrari Dino and the Dome Zero.

For the last cup we got a lot of eligible cars in our garage already with the Fit, Clio and Mito. I went with the weakest option to make things interesting and it actually made it a bit stressful, since you get spawned more than 10 seconds behind the leader in some of these races, so you have to push quite a bit to catch up.

In my next GT6 video I will get the second license.
