KHACHAPURI | GEORGIAN CHEESE BREAD

Khachapuri, or more specifically Ajarski Khachapuri is a boat shaped cheese filled bread. It is best served piping hot straight out of the oven for the most ooey, gooey, cheesy experience!

Ingredients:

Dough
- 2 cups all purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ¾ tsp instant dry yeast
- ¼ tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, plus more for greasing

Filling
- 2 cups Lori cheese
Substitute
-1 cup mozzarella, shredded
- ½ cup feta, crumbled
- ¼ cup ricotta

- 3 eggs (2 yolks, 1 whole egg beaten for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp. butter
- Aleppo pepper
