FATTOUSH SALAD | CRISPY PITA BREAD SALAD

Fattoush salad is so tangy, tart, and refreshing, it’s the perfect summer salad! We highly recommend using a fresh bottle of sumac from mezze spices, it makes all the difference!

Ingredients:

Salad
- 4 baby gem lettuce heads
- 1 bunch tarragon
- 1 bunch mint
- 1 bunch basil
- 1 medium tomato
- 1 green bell pepper
- 3 Persian cucumbers
- ¼ red onion
- 5 radishes
- 3 pitas toasted + olive oil + sumac
*Not shown but highly recommended*
1 bunch of watercress or purslane (it’s difficult to find in grocery stores, but you can
find it occasionally in the early summer season or try a local farmers market)

Dressing
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. Sumac
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp. pomegranate molasses
- Salt & Pepper to taste
