Mary Baker Gun Safety Awareness "Lock It Up" Event
Ms. Mary Baker, Clayton County Board of Education Representative of District 6, hosted a “Gun Safety Awareness ‘Lock It Up’” event on Thursday, March 23, in the Jonesboro High School media center. The program featured remarks by Clayton County District Attorney Tasha Mosley, Clayton County Police Chief Kevin Roberts, and Clayton County Public Schools Chief of Safety and Security, Dr. Reynard Walker. Following these presentations, the group answered questions from Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) families and community members and distributed free gun locks.
CCPS extends its appreciation for everyone who attended and participated in the “Gun Safety Awareness ‘Lock It Up’” event and thanks Board member Ms. Mary Baker for organizing and facilitating this informative program.`
