Florida Beach Before and After Hurricane

An aerial look at the south end of Fort Myers Beach before and after the storm passed. Things were colorful and serene before the storm and the extremely damaging storm surge.

This area on Estero Island is near Big Carlos Pass. The south end of the island appears to have less catastrophic damage then the north side but is still a huge mess.

Kudus and much respect to all involved in the recovery efforts of post Hurricane Ian. Even though Fort Myers Beach was devastated during the storm, recovery efforts already have brought back much infrastructure. The quick results are impressive to say the least.
