IMMIGRATION NEWS: IS RISHI TO RELAX IMMIGRATION RULES DUE TO STAFF SHORTAGES?

Today I am going to be talking about a potential relaxing of the Immigration Rules.

The reason for this is that the UK post Brexit is continuing to suffer chronic staff shortages.

It may well be that Rishi Sunak’s government maybe about to relax the immigration rules, this is obviously not something that everyone in the government supports but seems necessary if the UK is to economically recover.

Despite what nonsense that comes out of Suella’s mouth the UK continues to suffer a shortage of people to actually work.

It is also worth noting that apart from paying the French an extra £8 million to try and stop boats crossing she has achieved nothing
.
What is more encouraging is that under pressure from a variety of lobby groups including the Conferderation of British Industry (CBI), who said that urgent action was required from the chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, to bolster the economy.

Whilst the chancellor is expected to announce a range of austerity measures in his budget, he is being urged to increase the number of visas available for migrants to come to the UK to rescue our economy.

The UK is heading towards a recession, with the economy shrinking and inflation at its highest level since 1982.

Let’s hope that Mr Hunt listens to the people urging him to grant more visas. Pubs, restaurants, bars, public transport, and a whole host of other industries are on their knees because of the government’s hostile environment and the mass exodus of EU nationals post-Brexit. Let’s hope the new government can see sense.
