NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Reprise 20199) The brother act which originated from Fresno, California would relocate to Hollywood in early 1961. Primed with musical talent and striking good looks, Pat & Lolly Vegas had no problem getting work and being seen. A popular act at the top L.A. and Orange County venues, the duo was kept busy composing and playing on numerous recordings for others which would lead to recording singles under their own names as well as various group names. For this one shot single with Reprise Records, 'Two Figures (On A Wedding Cake)' is a classic 1950's styled 'East L.A. type of grove written by Pat Vegas and Claude Baum. Recorded at Hollywood's Gold Star Studios on May 20, 1963, the Jimmy Bowen production features the musical talents of an ensemble of L.A.'s 'Wrecking Crew' along with the amazing harmonies of the Blossoms on background vocals. Pat & Lolly Vegas were regular guests on T.V. such as 'Shindig!' and 'Hollywood A' Go-Go' as well as appearing in motion pictures. As the 1960's came to an end, the brothers would form the group, REDBONE along with Tony Bellamy - rhythm guitar and Pete DePoe - drums (later, Butch Rillera) and by 1973, would have a certified gold record with 'Come And Get Your Love'
