We are on day 4 of the 30 Day Yoga Fusion Challenge and I’m so excited to bring to you this quick and easy Kundalini Yoga class. You guys know how much I love Kundalini Yoga and this is a completely beginner-friendly routine you can do at home. The chant we’ll start with, ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO, which means I bow to the divine creative consciousness within, I honor the teacher within. Usually it’s chanted 3 times, but today we’ll only chant it once and build up to 3 as we move throughout this challenge.

Kundalini yoga is a bit different than Hatha or Vinyasa yoga. This style of yoga works with kriyas, which are prescribed practices designed to target certain energy centers within your chakra system. I love it because it also targets certain biological processes, like the adrenals or thyroids, making it a totally holistic practice. I hope you enjoy this introduction to Kundalini yoga.
