WHY WE ARE LEAVING LA | when, where, & why we are moving

It's weird...After telling this story and sharing with you all, it still doesn't feel real. Tori and I are wondering what we did for God to roll out the red carpet for us as we follow Him. Don't get me wrong, our first year and almost half of marriage wasn't always a red carpet experience and we hoped and prayed for things to be "easier", but this has just wow'd us. But I guess that is how it goes right? Sometimes following God is hard and others it's easy. When I first became a Christian 7 and a half years ago I thought all my issues were solved. It was time for life to be easy and just a cake walk because if God is for me, what can be against me right? Wrong. Life got harder after I gave my life to Christ. Not only did I go through the same challenges, but now I needed to say "no" to myself?! Still not a fan of that hahah but I digress. anyways, where was I, oh yeah... I am realizing that God is more interested in our Hearts and obedience than the outcome of any particular situation. After all, what does a man profit if he gains the world but loses his soul? In this experience God has moved our hearts more than He has moved our location (2528 Miles to be exact). Is there anywhere in your life that God is asking for heart movement before life movement?
