Okay I know this cooking video is long so I'll do my best to keep this encouragement short and sweet (like my chocolate pumpkinbread!) Commenting that you want more of these videos will mean I make more! lol Okay, here we go... Do you have any idea how unique you are?
Hang in there with me. There is no one out there that is exactly like you (even if you have a twin with similar interests lol so don't @ me) Anyways. There are things about you that people don't know, some good things and some bad things. Some things you like, and some things you don't like and all of that is okay because it is what makes you, you. I had such a fun time making this video because so much of what went into the video is what makes me, me. The things that make you different are the things that make you unique and special. (weird to say, i sound like a mom) But I feel like we aim to be this cookie cutter version of ourselves that we feel is what is best and we start to ignore or frown upon the things that are unique. For example: it would have been better for this video if I made it shorter with a voice over like pretty much every other cooking video/channel but then it wouldn't be just me. It would be me pretending to be someone else. And I'm not saying we can't learn from others success and good habits... but Is it worth losing ourselves to become someone else? Is that who God made us to be? Someone else? Okay this is getting long, but I guess I wanted to encourage yall that being a little different and letting those differences shine can be a good thing! "Even a dead salmon can float downstream" is a quote I read once and it's so true. You are going somewhere but it's not living.I encourage yall to be uniquely yourselves even if that means you won't fit into the mold society wants you to fit in.
