Festive Yule log recipe :)
Hey folks :)

So here’s a wee Christmas classic….Yule log! I ordered a box and decorations from eBay :) But you could just eat it as it is! Lovely soft sponge cake covered in chocolate ganache…lovely! I’ve listed all of the ingredients I used down below. So easy and much easier than you’d think! Thanks for watching, Have a wonderful Christmas :) and bye for now.

Serves 5-6

2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
1 Teaspoon baking powder
125g (4oz) Caster or fine sugar
250g (8oz) Dark chocolate
500ml (2 cups) Double or heavy cream
4 Tablespoons Icing or confectioners sugar
125g (4oz) Plain or all purpose flour
4 eggs (separate the whites from the yolks in two bowls)
Pinch of salt
Knob of butter - melted (to hold the baking paper to the tray)
