Cheap, easy, realistic trees using twigs

These cheap highly-realistic trees may not be hard wearing, but they're dead easy to make and work fantastically for dioramas.

I still don't know what the plant is called, but by autumn there are thousands of dead stalks lining the roads here in South West England. They make perfect light tree armatures.

A bit of polyfibre and some Woodland Scenics Coarse Turf and Noch Leaves and you'll have yourself a cheap and highly-realistic tree for your diorama or railway layout.

Before you know it, you'll have a whole forest going.
