One other point: I'm informed the 'punched leaves' I referred to are actually birch seeds! You can collect them from the seed 'pods' and they make great fallen leaves.

For a while now I've wanted to remake my most popular project on YouTube. Not because I think I can repeat the same success, but because I feel my techniques have improved and I can do a better job now than I did then.

This ultra-realistic river diorama video shows you how I started with a wooden tray from a hardware store and turned it into a beautiful natural scene, complete with a large wire tree and amazing water effects.

I hope you enjoy watching this model river coming to life and I hope it helps or inspires you in some way.
