1939 Russ Morgan (as ‘Reed Murray’) (ET) - Goodnight, My Beautiful (instrumental)
This was one of various hi-fi tracks recorded by the Morgan band (under a pseudonym) for the World Transcription Company and issued on a 16-inch 33 1/3 electrical transcription disc (aka “radio transcription” or “broadcast transcription”) containing music recordings created specifically for radio station use and not issued on commercial 78rpm. Morgan’s transcription tracks have since been reissued for commercial sale on both LP and CD.
