1933 Wayne King - Twenty Million People (intro. Josephine) (instrumental)

Unacknowledged on the label but sandwiched into the middle portion of this tune from the Kate Smith film “Hello, Everybody!” is the now-familiar Wayne King melody which four years later would be expanded and issued under the title “Josephine.”

Also from Paramount’s “Hello, Everybody!” was the popular tune “Moon Song (That Wasn’t Meant For Me),” which was issued on the flip side of King’s “Twenty Million People” (listen here: https://youtu.be/UHTRwsVsamY ).

From 78rpm Brunswick 6474 - Twenty Million People (Coslow-Johnston) by Wayne King & his Orchestra, recorded in Chicago January 13, 1933 .
