1935 Vic Berton - I’ve Been Waiting All Winter (Chick Bullock, vocal)
On the flip side is the Will Hudson instrumental composition “Devil’s Kitchen” ( https://youtu.be/iVjFMNjLKyg ). Versatile percussionist Berton (1896-1951) played in John Philip Sousa’s navy band during WWI, was a ‘hot’ drummer with several well-known jazz and dance bands in the ‘20s, was in Hollywood as a film studio session musician in the ‘30s and ‘40s, and performed in various symphony orchestras off-and-on thru the years beginning at age 16. This was one of six commercial dance band 78s issued by ‘Vic Berton and his Orchestra’ (all in 1935).
