One of our first stops outside of Florida was at the Grand Design Myrtle Beach Rally! We loved getting to reconnect with so many of our friends from Grand Design and Lippert and some of our fellow Ambassadors and Influencers including Happily Ever Hanks, Paws For Love, Keith and Raini and Traveling Stephens.

Lakewood RV Resort is not our normal campground, so we took full advantage of the fun ammenities while we were there! We enjoyed the outdoor water park with the lazy river and water slides as well as the heated indoor pool.

The highlight of the weekend was Corey getting to carry the POW Flag in the Closing Ceremonies along side the Honor Flag. No FOS adventure can be complete without the unexpected, and this time it came in the form of a lost parakeet that we housed for over 24 hours before finding it a new home! With all the stuff we have done with the animals at the Everglades Outpost, it was funny that this was the first time we had ever had a bird flying around in the RV! 😂
