You probably have heard about the Great Southern Ocean Drive along the western coastline of the Eyre Peninsula. (It is also known as Cliff Top Drive) When you venture a little further you will discover the greatest nature adventure. It is one the world’s most scenic drives. High sea cliffs, windswept Southern Ocean with its rolling white capped waves exploding on the rocky cliffs, white sandy swimming beaches, rolling surfing beaches and ecstatic views are all within short walking distances from a well formed road. The pioneering vegetation on the limestone plateau and the steep cliff faces exposed often to strong winds and wave erosion are a wonder to be explored. We spent a few warm sunny autumn days along this road.
