There are enormous colonies of jellyfish that honestly look otherworldly and then there are octopuses that are huge enough to overturn vehicles. Giant squid wants to surf

Surfing can be super fun and refreshing if you know how to do it right. But sometimes… things don’t exactly go according to our plans! What this guy did not expect when out in the sea on his surfboard was being attacked by a giant squid out of the blue. Clearly, the creature wanted nothing more than to wrap its tentacles around the surfboard, catching the guy off guard.

At first, he tried to fight off the squid in an attempt to gain back control of the board. But of course, that’s much easier said than done because this persistent sea creature had no plans of backing off! Guess he’ll just have to wait until the squid is done surfing.

A whale explodes in the middle of the ocean

This might possibly be one of the weirdest and grossest things you can have the misfortune of coming across while on the sea! A group of friends stumbled across a dead whale on the California coast near Tomales Bay and it couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Out of nowhere, the whale exploded with blood spilling everywhere, making the water go all red.

And as if that wasn’t bad enough, its insides came pouring out, causing everyone to gasp out of surprise and disgust. One reason this could’ve happened is because of the buildup of gases inside the whale’s body after its death. The high pressure eventually led the whale to blow up!
