Hiking The Adlerweg (Eagle's Walk) in Austrian Tyrol (part 2)

This is the second part of the Adlerweg 324km trail that starts in St Johann and finishes in St Anton.

Day 3: Anhalter Hütte - Hanauer Hütte . Elevation gained: 750m. Distance: 12.5km,. Time: 4h - Relatively short day that can be used as a rest day. A steep ascent to the hut but otherwise an easy day.

Day 4: Hanauer Hütte - Steinseehütte - Württemberger Haus. Elevation gained: 1256m. Distance: 11.8km. Time: 8h30 - A long and strenuous day. This can be split in 2 stages or cut short by following the signs for a direct route to Württemberger Haus at a junction and not stopping by Steinseehütte.

Day 5: Württemberger Haus - Memminger Hütte. Elevation gained: 580m. Distance: 6.5km. Time: 5h. A not so long day but a very steep ascent to Großbergspitze. Good weather is required not just for those amazing views from the top but also for safety on the scrambling section.
