Is Kemper Still Relevant? (Profiling an Amp!)

The Kemper Profiling Amp came out in 2011. Thats wild. It's still up at the top of the game as far as "modelers" go. Theres a hot debate about is the Kemper any good? Does it even sound like a real amp? I don't think thats the right questions to asking. The Kemper will not replace an amp because thats not what it's built to do.

The Kemper takes a snapshot of an amp, cab, mic, THE ENTIRE RECORDING CHAIN.... For that split second. You can't "discover" an amp through a Kemper profile. You wont find those crazy sweet spots in a profile. (hopefully the profile was taken in a sweet spot) I digress...

The Kemper will never replace amps. Because it's not supposed to. And frankly the arguments on either side are moot.
