Cygnus (beta) vs Ares amp modeling in the Fractal Axe-FX III & FM3 // Is Cygnus THAT much better?

In this video we're comparing the new Cygnus amp modeling (currently in beta) to the Ares amp modeling available in the Fractal Axe-FX III and FM3 modeling units.

Cygnus is touted as the next generation of amp modeling from Fractal. Is it that much better? To test this out, we played through the Axe-FX III and the FM3 at the same time. Axe-FX is running the beta Cygnus firmware and FM3 is running the current non-beta Ares firmware.

All amp and effects settings are identical between the two units.
