Gobot Crasher: A Biography Part 2

I use a small portion of the song "Ground Zero" by Stan Bush under Fair Use Doctrine for this picture and writing because the lyrics do represent the gobots' war and how it started quite accurately. Now some people do feel the song was written for Transformers, but even if it was written for that purpose, the words are not so specific that they can't apply to anything BUT Transformers. So I am applying them to gobots. (gobots eventually did bring their battles to Earth, so the words about Earth apply here) This is fair use because it is transformative. I got the idea from a youtuber called "SicCoyote" who used the song for their own gobots video. My pics and essay are also gobots created but otherwise entirely my idea (not theirs). Gobots are not robots but their bodies make them look like robots so the song words about robotic warriors fits here too.

"In a cold, far away world
A battle is raging between evil and good...."

This part is about how the long war got started in the gobots' world to begin with because it directly relates to who Crasher is and why did she become a Renegade to begin with (in my opinion, not of her own free will, based on evidence the tv series gives, not simply from my imagination and thought. I will be writing about this). So buckle up, the gobots' (more specifically Crasher's) backstory is quite interesting, and very sad, too.

So, in the first part I described the planet Gobotron. Gobotron was not always a cold world. Now, on this planet lived many different species, but the most interesting, complex and most advanced of these was a species called gobeings. Gobeings are - were - virtually biologically identical to humans so it wouldn't have been wrong to refer to them as humans. These are Crasher's people. The main differences between Gobeings and humans were that, of course, they didn't live on Earth, and it doesn't exactly imply, but I imagine they had their own language that wasn't English. (The tv series does show very well that gobots spoke English, so it's likely they eventually learned it in order to be able to communicate with humans.)

The other main difference between gobeings and humans is that gobeings were highly advanced, having technology and a civilization that far surpassed anything humans had at the time. For example they were capable of very advanced space flight, were able to travel long distances without having to cross the land in between (teleportation) and had advanced cybernetics (if they lost body parts they could replace them with prosthetics). This of course is something humans can do too, however humans' ability to do this is much more limited. Gobeings had a monarchy, however being so highly advanced and intellectual, it is likely they had something like what we humans call a constitutional monarchy, where the monarch does not decide things alone and that even the monarch was limited by rules something like that of a constitution would be on Earth. Gobots Royal-T, Good Knight and Stretch (also called Tux) were said to have been descended from branches of the royal family. Gobeings were like humans in that some were rural and some lived urban. They were also a fairly peaceful species. However, their peace would not last.

Among the gobeings there was a man in about his 40's, judging by his looks (and if they aged the same way humans on Earth did). he was never called anything but the Master Renegade (middle pic I put up here. The pic on the right is a gobeing known as the Last Engineer and he becomes important later). So here we have the gobeings with the same problem many humans on Earth have had - individuals who want power and more power. And, like such individuals on Earth do, the Master Renegade accumulated followers. And they named themselves Renegades and of course he was the leader. The definition of a renegade can be a person who does something as harmless as not following a tradition, acting unconventional, being nonconformist or simply changing their political party. However this group wanted to rule Gobotron and they would do anything to get it.

Despite how intelligent gobeings were, the Master Renegade didn't stop to realize he can't have people to rule if he kills them all. Yet that is what he nearly did. I don't understand his 'logic' at all. Whatever. Moving on..... Anyway, he and his followers stole a machine from the gobeings' asteroid harvesting fleet and used it to hurl a huge asteroid at Gobotron (left pic you see here I put up these pics so you can picture what it must have been like). However there lies another inconsistency, hole, etc. Picture this. A few days ago we humans managed to smash a spacecraft into an asteroid intending to deflect its path should we ever need to. Gobeings were said to have been miles ahead of humans in terms of intelligence and technology so why they didn't detect a huge asteroid coming right towards them I have no idea. But, they didn't for whatever reason, and the asteroid hit the planet.
