MABU: Horse Stance - Lower Body Rehab

Today's exercise is called mabu. It means the horse stance. It's an isometric hold similar to the bottom part of the half squat.

It's an excellent way to work the lower body for those that have difficulty with range-of-motion exercises that cause joint pain in the hips, knees, or ankles. The legs and lower back are put under pressure statically, so there is minimal movement.
