This week we’re at our Kings Cross Cookery School with Partner and chef Helen Carey. Before working for the Partnership, Helen worked in Paris, often waking up to the enticing smell of freshly baked bread. With lots of practice (and patience!) Helen perfected her bread-making skills.
There’s something about freshly baked bread, served warm with salted butter (Helen’s favourite way to eat it) but we’d love to know yours – share your favourite toppings, fillings or accompaniments in the comments below!

7g sachet easy-bake yeast
500g strong white bread flour
360ml water
10g salt
50g white flour, for dusting
