SPICED BEEF PILAF
Prep Time: 10mins
Cook Time: 1hr 25mins
Total Time: 1 hr 35mins
Serves: 4-5 people
INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups Tilda Pure Basmati rice, washed
• 500g beef, cut in small cubes
• 2 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
• 3 tbsp curry paste
• 500ml organic stock
• 2 large onions, sliced
• 1 carrot, finely sliced
• 2 fresh chillies, sliced
• 8 curry leaves
• Olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cover the base of a pot in oil and cook beef on medium to high heat until it browns.
2. Stir in the ginger and garlic paste and curry paste and cook for a couple of mins.
3. Add 250ml of water and cover. Reduce the heat and allow to cook for 45mins.
4. Once the beef has fully cooked, top with the washed Tilda Pure Basmati rice. Add the stock and cook on a low heat for 30-40mins until the rice has cooked.
5. Meanwhile, in a separate pan fry the onions, carrots, chilli and curry leaves until golden.
6. Finally, fluff the rice and stir in the vegetables. Serve and enjoy.
