Mr. NONOY ZUÑIGA recorded MINSAN LAMANG in 1986. Award winning director and writer Joey Javier Reyes is one of my favorite lyricists. His poetry tugs at anybody's heart and soul. MINSAN LAMANG is a poignant reminder of a love gone awry, why somebody's heart should not be broken by someone he/she truly loves. The lush live string orchestra enhanced the magnificence of Nonoy's vocal timbre, one of the best our music industry has ever produced. MINSAN LAMANG was subsequently covered by Bert Nievera. Superstar Nora Aunor also recorded this for a planned album with Universal Records but was eventually shelved. Unfortunately the master recording of Ms. Nora Aunor's version has been damaged.
