Improved Stirling engine on oil lamp, propane

After well over 100 hrs. of running time the crank finally broke. I redesigned it so there's less flex in it, put larger ends on it with larger bearings (3/16 x 1/2"). I also increased the power piston stroke to 1" and it's pretty well maxed out now. The power did increase and the maximum rpm with the 20" fan increased from 750 to 800 as shown in the video.

Note that the water pump was running off a little 200-watt inverter using the 12-volt batteries previously charged by the engine/generator. The battery voltage only dropped 0.2 v. after about 4 hours use.

The oil lamp is an old one that I was given, and I swapped the glass globe for a soda can for this use. I imagine the whole lamp base could be cut off and lower everything down quite a bit but I hate to modify it. Having the tripod legs is very handy for testing different burner setups and I've actually tested the engine over the lamp with the globe in place, but it got pretty tall.

No other issues with the engine at this time, just the broken crank. Onward...
