In italiano ci sono molte espressioni con la parola “caso”. In questo video ne vediamo due.
“A caso” significa senza logica, senza riflettere. Per esempio: “Se tiri il dado viene un numero a caso”, “L’insegnante ha scelto due studenti a caso”. Esiste anche l’espressione “tirare a caso”= “andare a caso”= “sparare a caso”. Per esempio: “Non sapevo rispondere alle domande così ho sparato a caso”.
“Per caso” significa in modo non previsto, non programmato. Per esempio: “Ho incontrato Marco al mercato per caso”, “Per caso hai visto i miei occhiali?”.

In Italian there are many expressions with the word “caso”. In this video we will see two of them.
“A caso” means with no logic, without thinking. For example: “Se tiri il dado viene un numero a caso” = “If you roll the dice, you get a random number”, “L’insegnante ha scelto due studenti a caso” = “The teacher chose two students randomly”. In Italian we have the expression “tirare a caso”= “andare a caso”= “sparare a caso” which means “to guess”. For example: “Non sapevo rispondere alle domande così ho sparato a caso” = “I didn’t know how to answer the questions, so I guessed.
“Per caso” means in modo non previsto, non programmato. For example: “Ho incontrato Marco al mercato per caso” = “I met Marco by chance”, “Per caso hai visto i miei occhiali?” = “Any chance you’ve seen my glasses?”.
