WW2 Weekend at Dover Castle, Monday's Battle

This is the final battle of the World War 2 Weekend at Dover Castle. The event was rather silly, but there was only so much that could be done in such a small "arena" for the battle. Rather than the D-Day raid they attempted to portray, I think it would have been far more interesting to feature a sort of "alt-history Operation Sealion" event. Given that they had the entirety of Dover Castle to work with, it would have been far more interesting to see a large group of German fallschirmjäger attempt to take the castle from their British defenders! But, I am sure it was a fun- if entirely unrealistic- event for the children watching! -
