EpEver MT-50 Remote Display - User Battery Type

How to set up custom battery charging parameters using the MT-50 remote display on an EpEver/EpSolar charge controller.

This video is at the request of viewers of previous MT-50 videos who wanted to know how to change the built-in battery charging parameters.

I had been using the EpEver 2210AN MPPT Solar Charge Controller in my garden shed for the last few years. The solar panels have been on the shed since spring 2017 and the charge controller since the spring of 2018, so a slight correction on the time frame mentioned in the video.

There's a 12AH AGM battery in my backpack sprayer and a 26AH AGM battery in my jump start pack. I had been using the Gel battery charging profile as it's close to what the AGM batteries should be charged with, as it lacks and Equalization charge cycle.

However, I noticed the boost charge voltage was a bit low with this setup. So decided to create a User battery profile with some updated charging parameters. The charge controller had a 14.2V boost charge setting and PowerSonic recommended 14.4 - 14.7V.
