SADHANA, THE INWARD PATH

Ratnakaram Sathyanarayana Raju, commonly known as Sathya Sai Baba, was born in 1926 in Puttaparthi, a village in Andhra Pradesh, south-eastern India. At the age of fourteen he claimed that he was a divine reincarnation and left his home to serve his devotees. He founded the Sathya Sai Organization which includes over 1,200 branches in 126 countries. Through this organization, Sathya Sai Baba established a network of free hospitals, clinics, drinking water projects, a university, auditoriums, and schools. Sathya died in 2011, leaving a remarkable legacy of writings and recordings on spirituality.
