One of the inevitable facets of our human reality is loss. And, as David elucidates, loss can arise in myriad ways. We often associate it with the physical death of a loved one. But humans also experience loss in the termination of a marriage, a friendship or a job or even the sale of the family home.

Unless you are incapable of love (and that sounds rather bleak) then, in life, you will grieve some kind of loss. And it’s easy to get stuck in the cycle of suffering that grief brings. There is simply not a lot of guidance on the of how to grieve. It’s certainly not taught in school.
