Khanyisa gets a weigh-in with her team of Carers around her: Herman, Willinton & Adine ❤️

Since dropping several kilos, Khanyisa is now rising in weight again and at around 311-313 kgs! The team at the nursery, Willinton, Herman and Adine with support from sheepy cheerleaders, Lammie & Nungu, weigh Sunshine on our new scale donated by Izindlovu Fund!

Khanyisa’s energy is up and so is her weight. She is finishing her milk bottles, although it sometimes takes lots of patience and perseverance from our Care Team to make sure that she finishes every last drop.

It’s always a big trick of perception to see Khanyisa with humans versus with her elephant herd — she looks tiny beside the herd but mighty large when in the nursery.

After her milk bottle and weigh in, Khanyisa is ready for the day! We wish you a super day from all of us at HERD!
