DIY Affordable Tufted Headboard

Headboards can be very expensive and may not always fit your existing bed frame so why not make one yourself. Choose the fabric that suits your décor and your budget. This project is fun and rewarding without the need to drill, use a saw or hammer in nails. Hope you enjoy!

What I Used:

*For this project I used 3 queen rolls of batting but you can use less to save money*

6 foam boards plus 2 more for the extra overhang and foam blocks (purchased from the dollar store Dollar Tree/Dollarama)
Polyester Batting (3 queen size rolls purchased from Walmart)
Fabric Button Kit (use as many as you like )
Fabric ( I used a curtain that I didn't need anymore. Make sure it large enough to wrap around your board)
Tape
Hot Glue Gun and Hot Glue Sticks
Needle
Plain Buttons
Heavy Duty Button String
Scissors
Oven Mitts or Towel (to protect your hands from hot glue)
Ruler (for measuring)
Pencil (marking where your buttons will go)
