BUFFY-THE WISH-fight scene home movies of Buffy Stunt Coordinator Jeff Pruitt

In THE WISH the first vamp up is me. I just felt like kicking so I put myself into the show. I'm rehearsing first in a brown suit, but they changed it to a brighter color when we were ready to film.

Since producer/director David Greenwalt wanted to shoot in ultra slo-mo for the finale' I decided to experiment with a shot. I had Sophia Crawford kick stuntman Dennis Keefer in the head (just a push) and as Sophia spun out of frame I had Sarah stand up into the shot. It was to give the impression that Sarah was landing the kick herself. Seemed to have worked pretty well in the moment. Here you'll see us working out the shot using Sarah's lighting stand-in Lisa Ray.

But the most important part of the THE WISH is when Seth Green's stunt double, Lee Whitaker, taught me his happy dance. I'm still trying to get the hang of it though.

There's a couple of stunt bits from CONSEQUENCES.

And in a bit from DOPPLEGANGLAND Sophia has the easiest fight she's ever had. The script called for some vamps to crash into frame and then Buffy enters. We only hear sound and we don't see what she does. So I had all the stunt guys run in and out of frame flinging themselves any way they could around Giles' stunt double Eddie Conna. This is the only Buffy fight scene in which Sophia didn't have to throw a single punch.LOL
